Ingleton Village Hall

The IDCA’s  principal   responsibility is to look after and  promote the use of Ingleton Village Hall,  situated behind St. John’s Church in the centre of Ingleton, for the benefit of the local community. The IDCA provides not only  a ’home’ for many of the active groups in the village  but can  be hired by the hour as a venue for fitness classes, music gigs, plays etc.   as well as private events.

The hall comprises all the facilities for events up to 120  in the main hall with its own raised stage. There are 2 separate rooms of the main hall available, all supported by a fully-fitted kitchen and servery. Toilets are suitable for disabled access.

If you wish to hire the hall please email  the booking officer (Melanie Ingleson) on [email protected]    to check availability and hire costs.

COMMON THREADS

First Common Threads Meeting 7th Feb 2022

Thirteen attendees assembled on the first  meeting on the 7th February 2022.

Common Threads is a new crafting group used to promote all forms of craft activities and to encourage social meeting amongst the village folk.   A number of the ladies attending had gone back to an old passion that had lapsed and others had taken part in a new  activity on demonstration.     Everyone will be welcome – craft expertise is not essential.   Meetings are held fortnightly on Mondays between 1pm and 3pm to allow members to still complete a school run afterwards if necessary.

The meetings are every second Monday afternoon between 1:30 to  3:30 pm.  Dates are published on the calendar on the monthly Parish Pump publication      Ingleton Parish Pump | Ingleton Parish Council

For any further information please contact the group during a meeting  or contact Melanie at       [email protected]
