Alfred Mead - Councillor and Website Administrator

Alfred Mead joined the Parish Council in November 2019.  He is a retired Merchant Navy Chief Engineer and is married to Joyce Mead (the Clerk to the Parish Council).

He ceased to be a Councillor in April 2021 when he no longer resided in the Village.  Having moved back to the village in August he continued the duties of Website administrator for the council.  He then joined the Speedwatch group and joined Ian Cartwright to assist with the routine monitoring of the Defibrillator unit .   When Ian Cartwright moved away from the village Alfred took over the lead Guardianship roll for the Defibrillator.

At the July 2023 meeting Alfred was again elected onto the IPC as a Councillor and will continue as Website administrator.
