2025 WEBSITE & THE NEW YEAR
Welcome to 2025 and a new domain name link for our website.
In accordance with the government guidance we have transferred our website link from – ingletonparishcouncil.org.uk to – ingletonparish.gov.uk so that we come under the same umbrella as all the other government organisations. Hopefully this will not affect your searches for our website as the original link seems to automatically transfer after a short delay, however we do recommend that you edit your short cuts to the new domain address so that they link directly in future,

DOG FOULING ISSUE:-
The dog fouling in the playing field has continued to be raised by more than a few residents.
As outlined in the article anyone wishing to report dog fouling can anonymously contact the following website:- https://www.durham.gov.uk/dogfouling
The play area has now been fenced off with entrance gates and notices stating “NO DOGS ALLOWED” in order to better control the fouling issue.
NEW CRICKET ITEM:
On a sad note the King James CC have decided to declare for the last time in 2024. They have struggled throughout this year with declining membership problems and eventually this was unsustainable, hence the sad decision to disband.
On a happier note Raby CC second team had asked to use our facilities on Saturday the 21st September 2024 to play a match. They are also considering using the ground next year for further matches and if viable to use them for the younger members to complete training sessions. Unfortunately the Saturday match had to be called off at the last minute due to some concerns from the league committee.
Any updates on the cricket situation will be posted here and listed on the page found under the: Parish Council / Parish Council Matters / Cricket in Ingleton page within this website – Latest News section.
